Chart explanations:

1. Fees for Private lessons depend upon your teacher. Low end USA - $65 / hour, high end is $100+.
2. * These fees are only waived if the candidate does the course work with Lisa Lansing at GYROTONIC® Cleveland, and not with another teacher at a different studio.
3. Equipment rental fees vary from studio to studio.
4. Not included in this matrix is the cost for personal practice and machine rental.

Other benefits of the Scholarship include:

  • Waived Studio Rental Fees for Practice Hours
  • 75% of Students for Practice Teaching are provided by the studio
  • 1 Private Lesson with Lisa Lansing monthly ($900 savings over 12 months)
  • 1 Workshop monthly with Lisa Lansing and / or Christina Kohler
  • If all requirements are satisfied during the apprenticeship, including basic employment guidelines (attendance, tardiness, client retention, overall fitting in with staff and clientele, etc) and certification requirements, a Post Certification Teaching position is offered. However, if these basic items are not satisfied, a repayment contract is then devised and signed by both parties.

All candidates must complete the certification process as outlined by GYROTONIC® HEADQUARTERS on their web site (click here) or read the basic Certification Process here on our web site.

Candidates will also learn Studio Management, Administration, Development and Strategy. Interns will be involved with Ohio's only dedicated Training Studio with Lisa Lansing, Ohio's first Master Trainer Candidate.

Our studio prides itself on the high-quality teaching we offer, and we have high standards for our teachers. Candidates must have the ability to teach movement, as well as the propensity to learn movement teaching skills including, but not limited to:

  • Hand cuing
  • How to "see" movement dysfunction
  • How to work with special populations (injuries, aging, mothers, athletes and more)
  • How to build lessons

This is an amazing opportunity for those looking for careers in movement. Contact the studio for further information and to make your appointment. 216 320 9446.
