Inspiral Motion / GYROTONIC®
Cleveland is offering 2 Intern / Scholarship
positions in 2009 - 2010. To qualify, you must first make
an appointment for a Private Audition.
The Audition will consist of a 90-minute GYROKINESIS®
class and a 3-hour introduction on the Pulley Tower. The interview
portion includes a panel interview, program overview and all
candidates must have a movement sequence prepared as a part
of your teaching audition.
Selected candidates will receive discounts or entirely waived

Chart explanations:
1. Fees for Private lessons depend upon your teacher. Low
end USA - $65 / hour, high end is $100+.
2. * These fees are only waived if the candidate does the
course work with Lisa Lansing at GYROTONIC®
Cleveland, and not with another teacher at a different studio.
3. Equipment rental fees vary from studio to studio.
4. Not included in this matrix is the cost for personal practice
and machine rental.
Other benefits of the Scholarship include:
- Waived Studio Rental Fees for Practice Hours
- 75% of Students for Practice Teaching are provided by
the studio
- 1 Private Lesson with Lisa Lansing monthly ($900 savings
over 12 months)
- 1 Workshop monthly with Lisa Lansing and / or Christina
Kohler
- If all requirements are satisfied during the apprenticeship,
including basic employment guidelines (attendance, tardiness,
client retention, overall fitting in with staff and clientele,
etc) and certification requirements, a Post Certification
Teaching position is offered. However, if these basic items
are not satisfied, a repayment contract is then devised
and signed by both parties.

Candidates will also learn Studio Management, Administration,
Development and Strategy. Interns will be involved with Ohio's
only dedicated Training Studio with Lisa Lansing, Ohio's first
Master Trainer Candidate.
Our studio prides itself on the high-quality teaching we
offer, and we have high standards for our teachers. Candidates
must have the ability to teach movement, as well as the propensity
to learn movement teaching skills including, but not limited
to:
- Hand cuing
- How to "see" movement dysfunction
- How to work with special populations (injuries, aging,
mothers, athletes and more)
- How to build lessons
