Pilates Mat Classes:
Pilates for Mothers™ (currently only available in
private and semi-private setting)
Based on the work
of Joseph Pilates, this mat course is specifically designed
for mothers. From strengthening and reshaping abdominal muscles
and the pelvic floor to bladder control; from correcting rounded
shoulders and sunken sternums to strengthening the back and
elongating the spine; from lifting your infant seat to carrying
your child; from alleviating back and sacroiliac discomfort
to addressing diastisis; from shaping your body to discovering
how the old you is now a beautiful mother - this class has
it all. We help mothers integrate strong posture and the efficiency
of movement into their day-to-day lives.
These classes are a time for mothers to focus
specifically on themselves. Many women bring their babies
to class! Babies are welcome in mom's classes! Classes are
taught by certified Pilates Instructors who have experienced
Pilates during and after pregnancy.
