Pilates Teacher Mentoring
and Training
with Inspiral Motion Core Dynamics Staff: Lisa Lansing, Karen

One weekend each month for one year to prepare you for Part
B of your Pilates Certification Program.
$250 per person, per weekend. Or $70 per hour
privately.
We do not provide Teacher Certifications at
our Studio. Instead, we providing the mentoring (apprenticeship)
needed while you are on your Pilates journey.
Pilates Certification Program Requirements:
Part A - Mentoring
Part B - Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 Weekend Workshops (not at Inspiral
Motion - we prepare you for these weekend workshops) - 18
hours total per weekend
Part C - Observation and Studio Mentoring Hours (150 + hours)
Part D - Personal Practice (100 to 150 hours)
Part E - Practice Teaching (125 + hours)
Pilates Certifications can be acquired through Core
Dynamics Pilates in Santa Fe, or Harmony
Studios in Pittsburgh.
Workshops:
Introduction to Pilates Mat
with Mary Tramonte
Tuesday evenings - ongoing - every 5 weeks

This workshop will provide you with the fundamental
positions, breathwork and physical technique needed to master
Pilates Mat work. Taught by Mary Tramonte. This workshop is
limited to 8 participants.
The Introduction to Pilates mat course begins
with the basic concepts behind Pilates work and builds toward
the more advanced exercises. This course focuses on breathing,
pelvis stability, joint release, spinal imprinting, initiating
and building abdominal strength, flexibility, spinal alignment,
and elongating muscles groups to enable efficient movement.
This class is ideal for beginners, people who have learned
Pilates from a Video or those who wish to review the Pilates
Fundamentals to ensure accuracy and stability before moving
toward the more advanced work. This class teaches students
the basic movement patterns (Fundamentals) behind the Pilates
work to enable correct execution and advancement without injury.
Students receive handouts and a small booklet for home practice.

This 5 week class will introduce you to the
fundamentals of Pilates Reformer and take you into the next
level. Karen McDonald and our staff teach the essence of Pilates
unlike any teachers in Cleveland. This course focuses on breathing,
pelvis stability, joint release, spinal imprinting, initiating
and building abdominal strength, flexibility, spinal alignment,
and elongating muscles groups to enable efficient movement.
This class is ideal for beginners and advanced beginners or
those who wish to review the Pilates Fundamentals to ensure
accuracy and stability before moving toward the more advanced
work.
This class is ideal for people moving from mat
classes into machine classes. It will familiarize students
with how to set up the equipment, use springs, adjust straps,
etc.
