Yoga Instructors
Annie Siegel
Annie's intention is to simplify her life, find balance,
and live truthfully. After giving birth to her beautiful daughter
Isabel, she has found the need to cultivate balance in her
life more than ever. As a mother, the struggle to allow time
for yourself is essential to happiness, yet so hard to do.
Practicing and teaching yoga has been her savior. Annie hopes
to encourage others to integrate yoga, meditation, and relaxation
into their daily lives. Annie's study of yoga has infused
her spirit with the desire to be present, to e balanced, and
to be quiet enough in mind to hear what she needs to grow.
In 2005, Annie completed the Om Yoga Teacher Training to
become a certified yoga teacher. She has continued her training
over the years, studying with various teachers in the Cleveland
area and visiting yogis. Some of her most recent and memorable
workshops include studying with Max Strom, Seane Corn and
Bryan Kest. Annie's teaching is slow in pace, thoughtful,
and enhanced by skilled hands on adjustments. Annie strives
to release the deeper layers of the body, to help people connect
the mind and body through a true meditation in motion. Annie's
class is taught with the intention to help people quiet their
mind and body so that they can listen to their heart. Each
class is different, each is a new experience, and each is
a journey.
In addition to yoga, Annie has most recently added Thai Yoga
Massage to her practice. She is trained in Thai massage through
the Lotus Palm School. She will complete her level two training
in October of 2009, enabling her to be a certified Thai Massage
practioner. She enjoys this meditative, relaxing and nurturing
form of energy work and hopes to introduce the many benefits
of this practice to those around her. Additionally, she loves
fusing yoga and thai massage together (Yoga-Thaifusion), offering
a unique blend in one session that leaves clients feeling
blissful. To learn more about Annie's offerings visit: www.mypeacefulpractice.com.
